Globex Foreign Exchange Corporation has established the Globex Charitable Foundation in order to give back to the community. Its mandate is to raise and distribute funds to charitable organizations and worthwhile causes. In order to facilitate this, Globex donates a percentage of every foreign exchange transaction to the Globex Charitable Foundation. Globex also matches any funds donated by its employees and customers. To date, the foundation has raised and distributed tens of thousands of dollars to the important causes listed below. United Way Merit Award 2009
 
Globex Foreign Exchange received the United Way Merit Award for participating in the 2009 United Way Campaign. Every day people in our community are given the tools, support and the hope they need to triumph over their uniquely trying circumstances. The generosity and support from the employees of Globex Foreign Exchange will make a positive difference to so many lives in Edmonton, Alberta. Globex Foreign Exchange will continue to foster the supportive environment necessary to make our community better for everyone.

Free Admission Day
 
On September 28, 2008, The City of Edmonton hosted an annual event called "Free Admission Day, which provides free access to the City’s popular collection of recreation facilities for individuals and families with low income who cannot afford admission rates to popular Edmonton centers.
 
Globex Foreign Exchange donated $10,000 to this event, as well as 20 employees who volunteered their time to help make this event successful.

Dreamnight at the Zoo
 
On June 6, 2008, Edmonton's Valley Zoo was proud to host Dreamnight at the Zoo. This annual event provides one, cost-free evening at the Valley Zoo for chronically ill or disabled children and their family members.
